Please give additional activity details (i.e., reach, impact, duration, return on investment) Cochrane Balearic Islands delivered a four-hour training workshop on systematic reviews and evidence-based healthcare as part of a multiprofessional mental health training programme at Hospital Universitari Son Espases. The session introduced participants to the principles of evidence-based healthcare and the role of Cochrane, Cochrane Iberoamérica and Cochrane Balearic Islands in the production and dissemination of reliable evidence.

The workshop combined methodological content with practical activities covering the main stages of a systematic review, including formulation of structured clinical questions using PICO, literature searching and study selection, data extraction, risk-of-bias assessment, qualitative and quantitative evidence synthesis, interpretation of meta-analysis, assessment of certainty of evidence using GRADE, and critical appraisal of systematic reviews using AMSTAR 2. Participants also worked through practical exercises applying these methods.

The session was evaluated by 33 participants and received an overall rating of 4.15/5. Participants rated the interest of the session content at 4.24/5 and the structure and presentation of the materials at 4.38/5. Reported improvements included knowledge of how to conduct a Cochrane systematic review (3.82/5), ability to critically appraise a systematic review (3.91/5), and ability to interpret meta-analysis results (3.76/5).
