Trainings, learning opportunities, workshops, Dissemination / Knowledge Translation, Promote Cochrane or the Cochrane geographic group(s) & gain visibility
No major challenges were encountered
Two 1-hour training sessions were delivered to undergraduate students (3rd year) in Nursing (approx. 70 students; 25 March 2026) and Physiotherapy (approx. 30 students; 19 March 2026), within the course Bases Metodológicas de la Investigación en Ciencias de la Salud.
The sessions introduced Cochrane, including its history, organisational structure, principles (e.g., independence and absence of conflicts of interest), and the Cochrane Iberoamerica network, with a focus on Cochrane Balearic Islands. Dissemination activities were also presented (e.g., podcasts, infographics, knowledge translation formats).
The second part of the sessions focused on systematic reviews: basic concepts, interpretation, and a guided practical reading of a Cochrane review.
The activity reached approximately 100 students in total and contributed to increasing awareness of evidence-based healthcare and the use of Cochrane evidence among future health professionals.
