The 4th Cochrane India Conclave was organized from 30 November to 1 December 2025 by the Cochrane Affiliate Centre, All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi, in collaboration with the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR), New Delhi. The conclave was inaugurated by Prof. V. K. Paul, Member, NITI Aayog, who emphasized the importance of generating context-specific evidence to address the healthcare needs of India.
During the conclave, representatives from all Cochrane affiliate centres presented their progress reports and shared their visions and strategic plans for the upcoming year. The Cochrane Affiliate Centre, King George’s Medical University (KGMU), Lucknow, conducted two workshops titled “Cochrane Interventional Review: Design and Interpretation” and “Comprehensive Literature Search Strategy.”
Participants from various institutions across the country attended these workshops, gaining valuable insights into the development and application of Cochrane evidence. Additionally, several students presented their findings from evidence synthesis projects, and we also chaired scientific sessions during the conclave.
