The first workshop on Co-designing a Living Evidence Architecture was held on 17 February 2025 in Melbourne, Australia, bringing together 34 participants—23 attending in person and 11 online—from six countries and two WHO regional offices (WPRO and SEARO). The workshop focused on identifying user needs, challenges, and opportunities for improving current living guidelines and evidence systems. Key insights included the importance of intuitive and interoperable systems, the high cost and complexity of current processes, and the need for clearer consensus and expertise within the ecosystem. Participants also highlighted opportunities to engage broader stakeholders, reduce duplication, enhance translation across contexts, and improve communication of evolving evidence. This workshop served as a foundational step in shaping the development of a future global living evidence platform.
