The seminar “Metodi di raggiungimento formale del consenso: Delphi, Consensus Conference and Co.” (“Formal Methods for Achieving Consensus: Delphi, Consensus Conference and More”), presented by Dr. Luca Vignatelli, explored structured approaches to building expert agreement in situations where research evidence is incomplete or uncertain. The session examined key consensus methods, such as the Delphi technique and consensus conferences, highlighting their role in developing clinical recommendations and evidence-based guidelines. Participants gained insight into how these processes integrate diverse perspectives from clinicians, researchers, patients, and caregivers to support informed healthcare decision-making. The seminar was held in a hybrid format, with a total of 78 participants.
